I. EDICTUM AEDILIS: Appointment of Marcus Aquillius Brutus as Scriba Aedilis | 13 June 2016 | Lucius Aurelius Curio, Plebeian Aedile

EDICTUM AEDILIS: Invitation for Marcus Aquillius Brutus to become Scriba Aedilis

Temporary Operating Procedure


I. According to LEX CURIATORUM: On Appointment and Removal of Unelected Magisterial Assistants (Magisterial Staff), the following citizen is invited to become Scriba Aedilis. a. Marcus Aquillius Brutus is invited to become Scriba Aedilis at the request of Plebeian Aedile, L.Aurelius Curio due to his dedication to the Roman Republic. b. The appointment will be effective immediately upon public acceptance by M. Aquillius Brutus and remain into effect until 10 December T. Flavio P. Iunio cos.

II. M. Aquillius Brutus must respond publicly to this appointment.

III. This edict is effective immediately and the invitation is extended for thirty days (until 13 July 2016), after this date this edict automatically expires.

EDICTUM AEDILIS: Invitation for Marcus Livius Horatius to become Scriba Aedilis

Temporary Operating Procedure


I. According to LEX CURIATORUM: On Appointment and Removal of Unelected Magisterial Assistants (Magisterial Staff), the following citizen is invited to become Scriba Aedilis. a. Marcus Livius Horatius is invited to become Scriba Aedilis at the request of Curule Aedile, M.Flavius Celsus due to his dedication to the Roman Republic. b. EDICTUM AEDILIS: The procedure for the resolution of questions of transactions in currencies other than the Denarii

Temporary Operating Procedure


I. In the case which payment on the subject of a contract is not carried out utilizing the Roman Republic's Denarius Currency, regulation of the deal, its insurence, consequences, as well as disputes between economic entities arising from this contract are not in the competence and jurisdiction of the Roman Republic, neither of officials or magistrates of the Roman Republic, who do not bear any responsibility regarding the deal (contract).

II. This edict is effective immediately.

IV. EDICTUM AEDILIS: Changes to Reward Politics of Republic. | 17 July 2016 | Marcus Flavius Celsus, Curule Aedile

EDICTUM AEDILIS: Changes to Reward Politics of Roman Republic. Establishes the procedure of evaluating and carrying out payments for citizen contributions.

Temporary Operating Procedure


I. Changing reward system for Photos uploaded to Photo Album.

a. Establish next criterias to evaluation

i. Technical quality

ii. Originality

iii. Historical value

iv. Artistic composition

v. Association to Roman Republic

b. Establish reward for each criteria to 1 denari. Max to 5 denarii per/photo.

c. Set a limit of 30 denarii per year for uploading photos.

II. Changing reward for drawing/model submissions

a. Establish criteria for evaluation, which follows same criteria to be evaluated by Arts Committee

b. Set a limit of 40 denarii per year for uploading drawings/models submissions.

III. Changing reward for “Forum participation” to 15 denarii for first 50 messages.

IV. Changing reward system for Articles added to Bibliotheca.

a. Establish next criteria for evaluation

i. Completeness of the disclosure of the article (sources, citations)

ii. Length of article

iii. Article design

iv. Literacy

v. Originality

b. Establish reward for each criteria from 1 to 8 denari. Max to 40 denarii per article


V. For evaluating citizens materials establish Arts Committee.

a. Arts Committee must include at least one Aedile

b. Arts Committee includes following individuals.

i. Artistic Consultant - C. Cassia Longina

ii. Aedile Consultant - L. Aurelius Curio

iii. Secondary Aedile - M. Flavius Celsus (in case of unavailability of primary Aedile Consultant)


VI. Establishing procedure to obtaining reward.

a. In order to receive payment for work every citizen must create message in special topic run by Aediles that must include the following items:

i. Name of Citizen

ii. Name award ( Photo, Bibliotheca Article e.t.c.)

iii. Direct link to material

iv. Additional info (if needed)

b. Aediles have one week for payment, starting from the date of submission of the application.

c. If no application is posted, then the citizen will not be paid for their work.

VII. This edict is effective immediate.
