EDICTUM CENSORUM: Removing Lucius Vitellius Triarius from the Senate of the Roman Republic

T. Flavius Severus P. Iunius Brutus Cen. sal.

Lucius Vitellius Triarius has been ill and recently contacted the major magistrates of the Roman Republic. In his message, he stated that he feels ill-equipped to serve on a regular basis. See the message here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2270

Due to this concern Triarius is hereby honorably dismissed from the Senate of the Res Publica and as Princeps Senatus.

The Censores, on behalf of all the citizens, thank him for his role in:

a. Founding the Roman Republic and helping to draft the Declaration of the Roman Republic
b. Serving as a founding Lictor of the Comitia Curiata and in this capacity drafting the foundational policies of the Roman Republic
c. Serving as a founding Senator and first Princeps Senatus of the Roman Republic

May his role in making this Res Publica possible inspire others who will follow.
