Collegium for the Imperial Cult

Postby Lucius Aurelius Curio » Sun Oct 16, 2016 4:11 pm

Salvete Omnes!

A while back I began to draft a Collegium based upon the worship of the Emperors, as I noticed there was a major following of this particular cult. Now, that being said, I am just wondering exactly how many would be interested in this being formed? I would not be in charge of it, that would most likely fall on an individual or group of leaders who are heavily involved in the Imperial Cult.

My ideas behind this is it would be somewhere for those of the Imperial Cult to learn and grow together in this regard. The sharing of ideas and rituals to help grow this cult into a larger aspect of our Republic.

Please leave a quick comment on whether or not you'd be interested in such a Collegium? And if you would, what type of leadership group would you prefer (individual leader, or triumvirate/decemvirate style leadership). I look forward to everyone's responses on this topic.

Di vos incolumes custodiant!

Id like that very much and I'd make it a collegial leadership, all full members being leaders. It could be divided in Flaminates to all the Deified Emperors. A Flamen Divi Iuliani, a Flamen Divi Marci Aurelii, etc. The Flamines would all have an equal vote and the chairing of meetings could be done by who called in that particular meeting.
