So, as a very new cultore I have found it very difficult to find items that one would need to begin the process of developing a relationship with the gods. I have asked members of this Republic, I have scoured the web for sources, for items needed to start up. So I ask you, kind cultores of the Republic. Use this thread to post places that have supplies such as Roman oil lamps, statues/figurines, literature etc that can be purchased. Let this be a thread in which beginning cultores like myself can find everything that they will need. I will try to update the list as much as possible as it develops. First off, you don't need much of anything to set up a simple shrine. A candle or lamp and some bowls and plates for offerings is the bare minimum. The early days of Rome did not use images of the Gods. Such a practice only started after there was more Greek exposure. This said, images can help focus our offerings and prayers and are certainly acceptable.
