he SCCP agrees to uphold the following Policy:
I) A Public Discussion Thread will be created in the Cultus Deorum Romanorum subforum, set as an Announcement, where anyone may opinate on the names they wish to see in the Collegium Pontificum and why.
II) The SCCP shall respond to any question or related proposal done by the Public.
a) No individual member of the SCCP is required to answer any question or proposal made by the Public, but is encouraged to do so by the SCCP.
i) This responsibility falls to the Chairmen of the SCCP, who must, when asked by a member of the SCCP, answer in their stead so as to preserve their anonymity on this matter.
III) The meeting of the SCCP shall have 4 phases.
a)The Opening: In the Opening Phase the Co-Chairmen of the SCCP shall:
i) Auspices will be taken before the beginning of the meeting.
ii) perform an opening ceremony asking for the blessings and guidance of the Gods in our endevour; and
iii) give a speech explaining why the Subcommittee was made and what is to be expected of it.
iv) This phase shall be comenced at the 4th of Feb. and closed at the 5th.
b) The Proposing and Debate: In the Proposing and Debate Phase, each member of the SCCP shall have the right to present up to 4 proposed names for the future CP and debate with their collegues the merit of each name.
i) Repeated names from seperate members will be allowed.
ii) A SCCP member cannot nominate themself for the CP.
iii) If more then one SCCP member wishes to extend the debate phase, it shall be extended to a date defined by the co-chairmen.
iv) This phase shall be comenced at the 7th till the 12th.
d) The Voting: In the Voting Phase, each member of the SCCP shall have the right to cast one vote for up to 4 different names;
i) Before voting and before every round of votes, a ceremony shall be made asking the guidance and wisdom of the Gods in our endevour.
ii) Voting will be repeated in round, with the names that received lower votes being dropped each round; this process being repeated until only 4 names are remaining.
iii) Voting shall be done anonymously through means provided by the Roman Republic Culture Group.
iv) This phase shall be comenced at the 14th of Feb. to the 19th.
e) The Closing: In the Closing Phase, the Co-Chairmen of the SCCP shall make a public announcement of the end of discussions and the resolution made by the SCCP.
i) The Co-Chairmen shall also make a closing speech in the SCCP and a Closing Ceremony thanking the Gods for their assistance and praying that they bring wisdom to the Comitia Curiata in their final decision.
ii) This phase shall be comenced and ended at the 20th of Feb.
IV) The Co-Chairmen may, in agreeance with one another, alter any aspect of this Policy at their own discretion.
