This is a excerpt from an excellent article by one of my favorite scholars of Roman Religion, Professor Schied called Graeco Ritu: A Typically Roman Way of Honoring the Gods from the Harvard Studies in Classical Philology.

This article explains how Roman Religion was always accepting of others and integrated traditions. Something the world needs today and something we can exemplify here in the Republic.
