P. Iunius Brutus Tr. Cos. sal.

I would like to add the item:

Approval for the sale of citizenship rings.

I have been in talks with a supplier and we can get personalized (with gens name) citizenship rings made for a modest cost (<$50). Will explain more during the meeting.

- Provincial Governor Affairs - I don’t see reports, nobody works, I don’t understand at all who is the governor of what? It's time to put things in order.
- Discussion of the further development of the CDR - I see everyone has completely forgotten that many promised for years in a row to deal with this area.
- Translation into Russian of the site and legal acts of the Republic - And then everyone says everything, but no one wants to make this decision. Previously, it was impossible to make this decision, because only Brutus had access to a bank account, but he escaped.
- Coin production - This issue was discussed, no one spoke out against it, since there is money for rings, then there will be coins.
- Regulation on the Children of the Citizens of the Roman Republic - You forgot? And I remember, I think it's worth returning to the old questions.
- Bank account - Since only Brutus has access to the account, apparently it is necessary to resolve the issue so that if Brutus escapes again, then the remaining ones had a way to operate funds in the bank account.
- Discussion: why Brutus, who was responsible for the maintenance of the site and the forum, did not fix a technical error due to which two citizens of the Roman Republic could not exercise their voting rights, which violated their civil rights, which Brutus was aware of for certain.
- Discussion: why the collegia were disbanded without consent from their management and members, without public discussion.
- Discussion: why the law on families was repealed, while there were no public discussions and this issue was not agreed with the heads of the gens.
--- A private citizen may post additional motions for this meeting here to be presented to the senate upon review and endorsement of at least one Consular Tribune. ---
Let one of the stands tribunus examine and present these questions.

Brutus Augur Sal.

I have not witnessed Ex Caelo.

I have witnessed Ex Auibus.

Alites seen from the South East.

Oscines heard from the South.

I have not witnessed Ex Diris.

Divine messengers for you and for Rome, established by this ordinance reported by Augur P. Iunius Brutus to Consular Tribune, T. Terentius Varro who took these auspices.

AVES ADMITTUNT for starting a meeting of the Senate on this day of XIII Kal. Sept.
Ti. Terentio P. Sextio T. Aurelio P. Iunio Tr. Cos.. The signs are consistent with favourable to neutral divine consent with the onset of a Senate meeting today.

An important topic. I think Varro’s proposal will touch upon this.

- Translation into Russian of the site and legal acts of the Republic - And then everyone says everything, but no one wants to make this decision. Previously, it was impossible to make this decision, because only Brutus had access to a bank account, but he escaped.

What is your proposal here?

- Coin production - This issue was discussed, no one spoke out against it, since there is money for rings, then there will be coins.

This fell through when the citizen spearheading this resigned. At the moment I have been working on offering citizenship rings. We will discuss this at the meeting.

- Regulation on the Children of the Citizens of the Roman Republic - You forgot? And I remember, I think it's worth returning to the old questions.

This was discussed at prior senate meetings. This would require an amendment to our bylaws. So something for the Comitia Curiata to approve.

- Bank account - Since only Brutus has access to the account, apparently it is necessary to resolve the issue so that if Brutus escapes again, then the remaining ones had a way to operate funds in the bank account.

This was never the case. The account was previously accessible to both myself and a co-lictors Victor and Hostilia.

Today all the LCMs have access. Account access was updated this spring.

- Discussion: why Brutus, who was responsible for the maintenance of the site and the forum, did not fix a technical error due to which two citizens of the Roman Republic could not exercise their voting rights, which violated their civil rights, which Brutus was aware of for certain.

I only became aware of the issue this spring. I did not build the elections system. Laenas did. We had some difficulty connecting to discuss this matter. No ones rights were violated as elections can be held by any polling system. And all required magistrates had access to citizen contact info at all times.

- Discussion: why the collegia were disbanded without consent from their management and members, without public discussion.
- Discussion: why the law on families was repealed, while there were no public discussions and this issue was not agreed with the heads of the gens.

See the CC meeting minutes on the reasons for this. If you have an alternate proposal please make it.

-- An important topic. I think Varro’s proposal will touch upon this. ---

Of course, my English is not my native language, but I do not understand how the awards to the governors and Lustrum that Varron writes about are related to the questions that I speak about? We need to figure out which of the governors is still working, who is already inactive. Need to get reports. Although in fact, I would have removed all governors from their posts, because in their time frame they have not done anything. And some, like you Brutus, I would remove from the post with a negative characteristic, because in some provinces the provincial work was never carried out, the governors simply held their posts. By the way, if you suddenly start talking about Severus, don’t think that I have double standards, I’m also strict towards him, in my opinion, you can also remove him from the post of governor, he has long been busy with another direction of reconstruction, like almost all our province.
And about the CDR ... well, how to say. You can’t do anything for years, I decided to remind you of your obligations. Of course, you can distort my words and say that I am talking about the lustrum, but no, this is not so. I'm talking about the direction as a whole, which you abandoned and thought that no one would notice.))))
--- What is your proposal here? ---
Allocate money, hire a translator, let him translate the main content, place translations so that Russian-speaking people can fully access basic information and regulatory documents.
--- This was discussed at prior senate meetings. This would require an amendment to our bylaws. So something for the Comitia Curiata to approve. ---
Is that the Comitia Curiata where you have the most votes? You who do not like this idea? Well, now I'm sure that if the Comitia Curiata considers this, not the Senate, then they will definitely make a positive decision. It's sarcasm. I already know that the Comitia Curiata will not accept it, because the decision of the CC is your decision and it is negative. By the way, if before the Senate considered this issue, why should the Comitia Curiata consider it now?))))))
--- This fell through when the citizen spearheading this resigned. At the moment I have been working on offering citizenship rings. We will discuss this at the meeting. ---
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2341&hilit=coin+production
There is such a thing. When you ran away for a year, in your absence, the Republic continued to exist, and people communicated with each other. I advise you to read this topic. So I don’t see the problem that the Senate will discuss both coins and rings. Or is the Senate now discussing only the products that you represent?
--- This was never the case. The account was previously accessible to both myself and a co-lictors Victor and Hostilia.
Today all the LCMs have access. Account access was updated this spring. ---
Well, of course. This was never a problem for you, but it was a constant problem for all of us, for the Republic, when you ran away, your wife naturally disappeared, and Victor left. Oh yes, well, that’s not a thing for you, because you don’t know about our problems, you weren’t there.
If this were not a problem, then such topics would not appear: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2375
So what? Who has access to the account now? They definitely won’t disappear, how did you do it? Can still discuss this issue? And then suddenly someone will again run away from the Republic and history will repeat itself))))
--- I only became aware of the issue this spring. I did not build the elections system. Laenas did. We had some difficulty connecting to discuss this matter. No ones rights were violated as elections can be held by any polling system. And all required magistrates had access to citizen contact info at all times. ---
Why am I hearing about this just now? Maybe it was worth saying about this two years ago? Besides, what does Laenas have to do with it? It was not Laenas who was the officially designated maintenance person. You still hold this position. Therefore, references to Laenas look ridiculous. If you are not able to solve the problem, then why are you holding this position again? If something doesn’t work out, will you dump everything on Laenas again? Isn't it convenient to shift your responsibility to another person?
--- No ones rights were violated as elections can be held by any polling system. And all required magistrates had access to citizen contact info at all times. ---
Oh yes, I forgot, you’re an authoritarian ruler, now you decide whether there was a violation of rights or not!))) It seems to me that these two know better whether their rights are violated or not. So they believe that their rights are violated, because people who find themselves in their problem situation, and whose rights were spit on by people like you, they still better know if their rights were violated or not.
--- See the CC meeting minutes on the reasons for this. If you have an alternate proposal please make it. ---
Oh yes, I saw how you made decisions, without analysis, discussion, consultation ... and you don’t think, Brutus, that it is because of this that I demand a public discussion in the Senate, regarding HOW and WHY you made that decision? And I do not propose, I demand this discussion, I want everyone to know your motives, how responsibly you approached these issues, how you thought about the consequences, expediency.

Avete,

We have the means to civilly resolve this.

LEX IUNIA-FABIA: Determining fault – The criminal versus civil complaints, the court and sentencing process of the Res Publica

I accuse Brutus of electoral assembly corruption or interference.
Based on Alba’s claims as aranearius and as consul Brutus failed to repair the elections system.

I accuse the ex-consuls and praetor of last year of disregard for the operating procedures of the Roman Republic. None of them came close to fulfilling their duties as stated in our laws.

If Alba’s claims are false then I accuse her of character assassination against Brutus.

Salve Cispi,

I take notice of your concerns. The consular tribunes (minus Brutus) will review.
