An altar standing 40 inches high and 12 inches wide has been privately commissioned and will be donated to the Roman Republic. This structure represents the first physical structural manifestation of the objectives outlined in the Declaration of the Roman Republic (
http://www.romanrepublic.org/wip/declaration.html). This altar shall be open to citizens of the Roman Republic and will be made of modern materials yet in all other respects be historically mindful.
The altar will be dedicated in a manner decided collectively by the Senate of the Roman Republic.
Opportunities to have your name added to the altar will exist. More details to follow shortly.

OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT THE FIRST ALTAR COMMISSIONED FOR THR ROMAN REPUBLIC
The altar described above is paid in full. It is now being made. However, in the ancient tradition an opportunity to support this altar financially is possible. Those who donate will have their Roman name added to the altar.
There will be four panels on the altar. Three will bear inscriptions regarding supporters. Two panels will bear the names of the two greatest supporters. The last will list the names of all supporters who donated over $25 USD to the project.
The total cost of the altar was $600.
If more than this amount is raised these excess funds will be donated to the Roman Republic treasury.
Donations will be accepted until December 10th.
