How do you celebrate Saturnalia?

It is that time of year again, Saturnalia!

I think many here would be interested in learning how you celebrate the day of any others of significance this month. Please feel free to share here.

For my family of three kids plus wife – we treat the day as one of the annual festivities. We begin the day with offerings at our lararium to our household deities and also to Saturnus and Ops. Later we have a big dinner. Our older kids help make it. We wear Pileus Caps at dinner. The kids love shouting io saturnalia at dinner and afterwards. Before dinner we make another offering to Saturn from the meal prepared. After dinner is done we exchange simple gifts. We still have a gift exchange on the 25th just due to social norms with the holidays and do the whole Santa thing with the kids that day as well. But the family’s spiritual center of the month is certainly Saturnalia on the 17th.
