In Roma Æterna the Greens, known officially as Factio Prasina, was a chariot racing team associated with the Earth and the commemoration of the coming of Spring. The Factio was one of the most popular Factio of Rome and was a rival of Factio Veneta (the Blues). The patronage of the Greens falls to Tellus Mater (Mother Earth) and Flora, goddess that personifies spring-time.
The revived Factio Prasina was founded in the Nones of Martius (7th of March) and welcomes all to help lift its banner. May we, the Greens, rise once more the glory of this most ancient Factio and together bring joy and wonder to all!
