Ordo Advocata

Postby Gaius Curtius Philo » Sun Feb 19, 2017 9:01 pm

I am planning on founding the Ordo Advocata through Decretum.

It shall be a sub-unit of the Collegium Legis Romanae. While the CLR deals with the Academic and Legislative branch of Law, the Ordo Advocata will deal with the judicial, active branch of Law. The word Advocatus here translates as Lawyer. It shall strive to create and maintain a professional standard for the Advocati of our Republic and guarentee their rights to be payed for their services.

I am looking for interest volunteers to be the Founding members of this Order.

My personal suggestion: P. Sextius Laevus, Ti. Cilnius Maecenas (two proven and exceptional advocati) and L. Aurelius Curio.
