"The Republic: A Poem"- As Requested by Marcus Aquilinus

Salvete omnes!

As requested by M Cassius Aquillinus, I post his tribute to the Cassia, a poem I find quite intriguing, maybe as a definition for the Republic as well.

We're all made the same
Different parts of the same end
We are all one unit
The name we all defend.

Different perspectives of one universe,
The same family,
The same strife.

We are all the same
The same blood, the same thread
We're one nation
With an illusion of separation.

We all feel, we all cry
We all live, we all try,
We pass on the energy,
A name not to pass by,
A history to tell.
