Ⅰ. One or two (if enough qualified candidates exist) citizens are to be elected by popular vote by the Comitia Curiata as aranearii (webmasters). They will have access to the administrative functions of the website of the Roman Republic corporation. They are to maintain the website and ensure all functions requested by the comitia curiata are carried out on their behalf.
Ⅱ. Each will serve a term of one year and may serve consecutive terms if re-elected. The term shall run from March 1st.
Ⅲ. If 2 of the citizens serving as a Lictor Curiatus Magister, or a majority of the lictores on the Comitia Curiata agree in writing to suspend an Aranearius they are immediately suspended until the matter over their service is clarified definitely by a majority vote of the Comitia Curiata. While suspended all access to online administrative functions is to be revoked from the aranearius in question.
Ⅳ. All Aranearii must sign a liability agreement in order to protect the assets of the Roman Republic corporation prior to being granted access to any administrative function.
Ⅴ. To be considered as a candidate for aranearius one must be competent in php, mySQL, css, graphics design, wordpress and HTML. These are essential skills in order to maintain the website. All candidates must declare in writing publically before the comitia curiata that they are competent in these abilities.
Ⅵ. Any assistant (scriba) appointed by an aranearius is the full responsibility of the aranearius who appointed the individual. All appointments must be listed publicly in writing upon beginning and ending. All assistants require majority approval of directors (Lictor Curiatus Magister) and must sign the liability form mentioned in this operating procedure prior to accessing any online asset of the Roman Republic. Any actions carried out by an assistant is deemed to have been carried out by the aranearius supervising them.
Ⅶ. This lex comes into force immediately and may only be rescinded by a majority vote of the Comitia Curiata.
