Juturna had a festival day for her cult today. This goddess presides over a spring in the south-west corner of the Forum at the foot of the Capitol and is also associated with healing. In historical times water from this spring was used in official sacrifices in Rome.  Juturna was linked by legend with Castor and Pollux. Her shrine was historically associated with the public water-services of Rome. Sources stated that the Juturnalia was celebrated by ‘those whose business was connected
with water’.
