A modern addition to the Roman calendar since 2016. Implemented by LEX CLAUDIA: Authorizing an annual Ludi Rei Publicae.
These are annual games celebrating the founding of the Modern Roman Republic through the signing of the Declaration on March 1, 2016. The organization of the games is to be the responsibility of the Curule Aediles who shall be assisted by the Plebeian Aediles. The games honour the Patrician order who originally signed the Declaration, the Res Publica Romana, and the Capitoline and Archaic Triads (Iupiter, Iuno, Minerva, Mars, and Quirinius).
