Again, I say that we as Romans should be striving to do more than hollow words. And again I say that Templvm is a shining example of praxis. They have done more to restore Pax Deorum than anything else I’ve seen anyone do.
Earlier this year Germany was hit hard with flooding. Many lost their homes and all their possessions, including two cultores. Templvm quietly sent them lararia, free of charge. This act of generosity and piety brought some normalcy and peace back to their lives.
When I made an international move with my family earlier this year I made a vow to Hercules, Minerva, and Victoria to sacrifice to them if our travels were save and easy. They upheld their end of the agreement, so I made an big offering. But I wanted to give more. Templvm provided an easy way to have a sacrifice made to them on my behalf by their priests. They even provided photos of the beautiful ceremony.
These are the actions of true Romans providing a much needed service to the CDR community. I’m so inspired that I’m even in the process of joining Tenplvm’s Collegium Herculi, as part of my devotion.
This is the sort of project that we as Romans should work to see done. This is how we restore the CDR and Pax Deorum, my fellow Romans, not through words and promises.October 18, 2021 at 7:43 pm #41832

Factis ut credam facis.
We can talk in absurdum about the Gods, how our ancestors worshiped, how we should worship and compare our lifestyles until we grow old and frail to never personally be able to carry out the same labors, we can talk about what we should and ought to do, why we today must do this and that, but in the end, what weighs on the scales of the Gods are the actions men do, not the words they speak.
I hear a lot about how we today have lost our way, how we are weak in our virtue, yet I likewise as you do not see much in terms of action to back up these claims and how the people in question have acted or what they have done to personally come past this. We are told our lives today lack what the orators have, yet what do they provide, aside from their words and promises?
What has been done to restore the Pax Deorum?
Who is performing the rites, on behalf of community and individual?
Who is taking action?
Who is providing education and insight into the CDR?
Who is providing clarity on praxis, both personal and communal, rather than speak about character?
What is being done to train the next generation of priests, what is the Collegium Pontificum planning for the year ahead?
Who is answering inquiries to citizen’s and non-citizens alike?
Stop talking, take accountability, and start acting. The people and the Gods are watching.
