L. Horatia Adamas omnibus S.P.D.
I receive information about some external Latin groups and their events, and thought some of you might be interested in these. Below I shall attempt to paste one about an event at Rome with retired Vatican Latinist Reginaldus Foster; unfortunately the pictures did not copy. The catch seems to be that one must be in Rome…but one can purchase his text any time. His method works very well for some, and was praised by one of my former students who attended his summer session in Milwaukee.

L. Livius magister omnibus sal.
Reginaldus Foster is a living legend among today’s Latinists. I had the great fortune of working with the Carmelite community to which he belongs during my time in Milwaukee; one of the few places I’ve ever had the opportunity to hold extended conversations in Latin. I haven’t had the chance to examine his new series of books, but if anyone has, I’d be interested in hearing their thoughts.
