I remember joining another Roman organization many years ago — sometime in 2001 or 2002. In that other organization I eventually came to serve as tribune, consul, censor, flamen pomonalis, augur, pontifex, senator, and finally upon transitioning from plebeian to patrician I briefly served as rex sacrorum before resigning said organization at the end of 2010 due to conflict after conflict after conflict.
What I loved about that organization is that even people who disagreed there was a commitment to the organization and a respect for one another. Eventually, that respect eroded and what remained was the desire to "crush" ideological opposition instead of working together. I invested a great deal of time and most importantly I invested a part of myself. When I left that organization I felt like I lost a major part of who I was and am and it is my hope that I can regain what I lost and continue to cultivate my own sense of Romanitas amongst fellows with similar passions.
I offer my talents to this endeavor.

It is an honor to have you here! I was around that other organization in 2001/2002, and the positive atmosphere here does remind me of the enjoyable and productive elements of that time. I hope that we can harness that passion you speak of to bring Romans together and build a vibrant and enduring community. I think we are on the right trajectory here at the RR. We are a passionate group us Romans, imagine what we could do if we focused that energy!
I am greatly looking forward to working with you.
