It is with a heavy heart that I come forward with most terrible news (though delayed as I’m just now finding out). L. Curtius Philo, one of the Founders and Senatores, has passed away after a long battle with cancer and after surviving a stroke. He was truly a man of virtue and merit, one worthy of our respect and honor. He shall be missed, and the Republic, nay the world, is worse for him not being in it.
This sad news, so we can only condolences to friends and relatives of Philo. However, the only and most correct thing that we can take in this situation and to honor Philo’s memory as much as possible is to preserve and develop Roman Republic – the project to which he put a lot of effort and time so that his name and heritage will live and glorify his person in history.
