I have just realised that I made a mistake with the date.
The Festival lasts until the 10th of June. Therefore, you have one more day to participate to the contest and send me your answers: the deadline is June 10th midnight (Rome time).
I will announce the winners June 11th.

Ludi Piscatorii – June 7th-9th – Piscatorii quiz: final results.
The contest is now finished. Thanks a lot to the 5 citizens who participated! The Latin name (scientific or taxonomic name) of fishes is composed of 2 parts: the genus and the species we could compare to our name and cognomen. The participants of the contest found often the genus but not the species. So I changed the way to calculate the points. The contestants got 1 point for the genus and 2 points for the complete name.First place: Aula Flavia Philippa with 23 points. She shall receive 75 denarii.Second place: Numerius Caelius Saturninus with 21 points. He shall receive 50 denarii.Third place: Tiberius Iulius Carus with 16 points. He shall receive 25 denarii.Fourth place: Publius Aurelius Barbatus with 9 points.Fifth place: Octavius Marius Bestia with 7 points.Congratulation Philippa! Please private message me your postal address and I will send you your roman coin. You will also have a Victor’s badge forever added to your citizenship profile. The Roman Republic Denarii will be transferred as soon as possible.Valete!GallusThe answers:I.
