Protocol for the Plebeian Assembly to move forward

After being told to pause the meeting of the Concilium Plebis and receiving no sound solutions, the meeting has been re-instated. After receiving the personal advise of a number of Plebeian citizens we will proceed to vote on a plan to potentially guide the Concilium Plebis on how to move forward.

The Concilium Plebis Instrumentality Protocol

In light of recent disputes and the attempt by the Comitia Centuriata to pause the meeting of the Concilium Plebis this meeting has been restored to immediate action and will issue a new emergency protocol to be voted on. The Concilium Plebis Instrumentality Protocol is as follows.

Due to the fact that all three acting members of the Concilium Plebis for the 2022 election year were elected and confirmed by Rogatores and their positions are not up for dispute, their positions are valid. Under this combined with the emergency protocols already in place all Plebeians citizens should engage in a method of maintaining the community based upon their positions. This may be done by initiating necessary laws to provide the Tribunes Decimus Firmius Perusinus and Gaia Pompeia Hispaniensis as well as Aedile Servia Aurelia Gemella the powers of the higher offices of Censor, Consul and Praetor, to be divided amongst themselves to initialize all necessary citizen led projects rather than forcing all matters to be mediated through a governmental bureaucracy. The other potential mode of operation is to have the members of Concilium Plebis continue to lead such projects as the community leaders of members of the general citizenry until the Plebeian Assembly decides that the Roman Republic organization’s current government has effectively restabilized itself.

The mode used will be decided by the leading officers of the Concilium Plebis with all necessary speed, after the completion of the tallying of the vote.

If it is the case that these issues are not resolved, the meetings of the higher assemblies are left incomplete, or that this protocol and both of its modes of operation.
